Minturn Bars and Restaurants

Minturn is a typical home rule municipality in Eagle County of Colorado in the United States of America. As of 2010 US census, the population of this town was 1,027. To locate it geographically, Minturn is in the south-eastern Eagle County on the bank of Eagle River and surrounded by the communities of Beaver Creek and Vail. The town was named after the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad’s Vice President, Robert Bowne Minturn Jr. The oldest families of Minturn settled around the 1800s and farming was the primary occupation here, and the other occupation was silver mining up the mountain. With the introduction of the railroad here in 1887, the place rolled as a crossroad for industrial development and transportation. Minturn was finally incorporated in 1904, November 15. There has been shift and modifications in the local budget here and due to the tourist attraction to the Beaver Creek ski resorts and Vail, Minturn has come into the big picture and is a host of exquisite restaurants and bars that give the perfect country feel and are very homely, the Main St in Minturn is crammed with great eateries and places that serve great alcohol and also fun indoor games. The quality of food is excellent food across Minturn and Red Cliff.

This is a great barbecue joint around Minturn. The place is not huge, but the atmosphere is very nice and laid back. The place is bustling with foodies, and also there are live shows, and there is also a patio seating area outside. The service is quite good here, and the staffs are friendly. The North Carolina Pork and brisket is really nice, the Jalapeno Mac and cheese is very tasty here. You must try out the pig wings here. The baked beans and cornbread is also delicious; you can try out the side of jalapeno hush puppies instead of the regular Mac and cheese. The pork BBQ platter is lip smacking, and the side dishes are exceptional, this place knows barbecue well. The place has quaint and basic bar with a nice supply of great beer.

If you’re riding back from Vail, this is one of the must stop on the way. This is one of the oldest eateries in Minturn. The décor is very old, and it adds the feel of all the years of its establishment, the frontier décor is a personal favorite. The staffs here are great and very attentive. This place is very lively and also has an outside seating area. They have flat screens and also Wi-Fi. Coming to the food and bar menu, the margaritas here are simply amazing, they are always tasty and cold which is great. There is also a full bar service with efficiently stacked alcohol to fit almost everyone’s choice. Other things to try at Minturn Saloon is their duck, quail and the ribs, you should also order the duck fajitas, enchiladas. If you want something to accompany your margarita, order some tacos as a snack.

This is quite an old establishment and has the concept where you can select the meat of your choice from the ‘Butcher Shop’ and also grill your own meat. This is the destination for the best wings in the whole of Vail Valley. This local business is the king of wings and great beer. The restaurant is very warm and cozy with a bunch of friendly waiters and also great service. The Buffalo and the teriyaki wings are the best. All the wings are very plump, juicy and delicious. There are two kinds of salads among which you have Caesar’s salad also, the salads and the sauces are all homemade. You must try out the honey mustard bourbon sauce with your wings, the collection of beer here is amazing, and there are also some really cool cocktails. The fun part here is, you can choose your sauce and heat levels from the menu. This is a to-go place of excellent wings and a treat to the locals definitely. This place screams pizzas and burgers. The pizzas are no doubt excellent, the cheese pizzas and veggie pizzas are so cheesy and soft and baked to perfection. The best part is that the pizzas are not greasy or too heavy. You should always choose pizzas with a side of their onion rings and also hot wings. The pizzas are so huge that it takes a lot of capacity to eat one on your own. The local beer, nut brown, is great and also there is a full bar available to mix up some great cocktails and also a lot more collection of beer, this place never skip the beer and the quality of the food. The burgers are also amazing here, choice of burgers is stuffed with guacamole and more sauces and fries, the fries are to die for. The place is very laid back and cozy and gives you a country and crunchy feel. You can grab a drink here from the bar, watch TV and also play some pool, video games and have a great time.
